The Kerstar range of KEVA vacuum cleaners has been purposely designed, built, tested and approved as suitable to pick up potentially explosive and conductive dust and debris in a Dust zone 22. The Type H models are also suitable for picking up dust and debris that is hazardous to health in a Dust zone 22. All models are built using an electronically commutated brushless motor featuring soft start and thermal protection.
Each model in the range is equipped with three stages of filtration on the negative pressure (suction) side of the motor. Every model is supplied ready for use with a fitted plug, comprehensive instruction book and a full conductive toolkit.
The KSV 45/2 C is a portable industrial unit designed to pick up metal chippings and swarf (but not spirals) from milling machines, lathes etc. Where most of the liquid (suds) has drained into a sump.
The KSV 45/2 W is a portable industrial unit designed to pick up engineering coolant (suds) and metal chippings (but not spirals). The motor unit is protected by a ball float system to cut off the suction to prevent over filling.
This range of industrial vacuum cleaners is available in dry pick up only versions or wet & dry versions that can be converted to pick up dry dust and debris or non-flammable and non-corrosive liquids.
